Let’s work together.

Are you interested in operating your own business? Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit? Does your business model involve simple food/beverage (no FDA kitchen), boutique-style retail, creative ventures such as bookstores, art galleries, etc.?

The Alamo Venture Academy is a pilot program funded by the Otero County Community Services Grant. This program has been developed to reduce the risk associated with starting a business. If accepted into the program participants will be required to have a minimum of 12 hours in course training (2hrs/week for 6 weeks). Graduates will then have an opportunity to open up in a physical location downtown to try their business model in a real-world setting for 4 to 6 weeks dependent on phase 2 applicants.

Please fill out the application in its entirety. It is okay if you have little to no experience and only a dream! If you are selected to participate in the program, we will be in contact with details including schedule, location, etc.

We look forward to working with you!
